I offer 1-1 and group 8 week breathworks mindfulness for stress and mindfulness for health courses. you can do these either in person from late 2020 or online via zoom, so no matter where you are in the world, you can work with me.

​in person (1-1)

This course is for people with chronic pain, illness, and long-term conditions.
The award winning Breathworks Mindfulness for Health course teaches you mindfulness skills to help you improve the quality of your life and your health.


​You will learn:
How to manage pain, illness and fatigue in daily life
How to breathe into the present moment and find choice
Breath and body awareness
Gentle mindful movement and relaxation 
      kindliness towards yourself and empathy for others.


This 8 week course costs £360 (£45 for a 60 minute session) and includes practice MP3s. You will receive The Little Mindfulness Workbook by Gary Hennessy and a practice book. Please pay for the course before the first session. On some occasions I am happy for you to pay weekly if you are able to commit to the 8 weeks.

mindfulness for stress
​in person (1-1)

This course is for anyone dealing with stress of any kind, as well as for those wishing to bring a greater sense of richness, fulfilment and meaning into their life. I not only teach you ways to reduce stress, but also ways to become more ‘stress-hardy’ and resilient, so you will be less thrown by life’s difficulties.

​You will learn:
Breath awareness
Body awareness and relaxation
Gentle mindful movement
Training in how to manage stress in daily life
Mindfulness meditation practice, including cultivating kindliness towards yourself and empathy for others

mindfulness for stress or health course online (1-1) 

If you are unable to get to my courses or prefer to learn from your own home then this is the course for you!
We cover everything that is in the group 8 week course with a few variations because we're doing it online! The session will last 60 minutes. There will be a particular theme each week to explore together and we will practice different mindfulness techniques with space for you to talk about your experiences.  
This course costs £320 (£40 for a 60 minute session) for 8 weeks and includes practice Cd's or MP3s.

If you are doing the stress course you will receive The Little Mindfulness Workbook by Gary Hennessy and a practice book.

If you are doing the Health course you will receive Vidyamala Burch's book Mindfulness for Health. Please pay for the course before the first session.

​I offer guided meditations every friday lunchtime at the soul spa wellness centre in bath. You can book onto one of my guided meditations at the link below. It is just £5 per class and you can book and pay online or on the day in person. registering and becoming a member allows you to access all timetabled classes per week for a reduced price.

I offer two styles of meditations - 'Calm and Soothing Mindfulness Meditation - a sitting breath based meditation' & 'Rest and Restore Mindfulness Meditation - a bodyscan lying down on a mat'

The Stress Course / The Health Course

​The cost of an 8 week group course is £225. The classes are 2 hours long. I ask for a £50 deposit to secure your place. Please send your paymen

monthly mindful mornings, ​via zoom

This is a chance for you to gift yourself 1 hour of mindfulness practice and the opportunity to share about your experience in a small group. Carla-Jo will guide you through meditation practices such as the mindfulness of breathing, the body scan, mindful movement, mindful walking and kindness meditations. This group is suitable for people with some mindfulness experience, who are already familiar with the above practices.

​These mornings are on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Please contact Carla-Jo to find out more and to book your place for £5 suggested donation.  There are only 6 space's available so do get in touch!

Come and explore mindfulness and more
every Sunday at 2:30pm on wellbeing radio.

Each week we will be exploring mindfulness theory, practices and other mental and emotional health topics. 
 

The show also includes meditations and mindfulness tips to help you on your mindfulness journey.

Mindfulness mentoring ongoing sessions

I offer mentoring for people who have completed an 8 week course and would like support to help them develop their practice. I offer this online or at The Practice Rooms in Bath. Online sessions are £40, in person they are £45. 

For those who want to continue within a group setting and are local to Bath and the surroundings area, you can attend the two groups listed on this webpage. 
I'm also planning an online mentoring group starting in January 2020. Please contact me to register your interest. This will be £15 a month and a great opportunity to deepen your practice with others.

Things to know - terms and conditions - course requirements

Unless due to illness or something unavoidable, you are asked to attend all 8 weeks of the course and the follow up day. We will post you hand-outs and information if you have to miss a week.

To get the best value from this course you will need to set aside 10–30 minutes of practice time each day and keep different kinds of Practice diaries. Practice is the key to mindfulness and the amount of practice you put in is reflected in the benefits you will feel.​

You will need to be able to access MP3's online or have a CD player to listen to the guided meditations each week.  Please wear loose fitting clothing suitable for simple Mindful Movement. There will also be chairs available.

I will supply course CD’s, a course folder for hand-outs, notebook and pen. Tea and coffee will be provided for the break in the session. Please contact me on carlajogeraghty@gmail.com if you have any further questions.

​NB: If for some unforeseen reason you are unable to complete a course then depending on the circumstances, I can offer a partial refund.
